SAME PLACE, DIFFERENT EYES
An exhibition of recent work by George Kowzan
Maeldune Heritage Centre, Market Hill, Maldon 10th – 23rd November 2021
Drinks and tapas on Friday 12th November 5-7pm
A familiar scene can appear to be entirely different, depending upon so many factors: time of day, time of year, personal mood, individual perception and so on. Sometimes we want to see something more than the obvious: sometimes we don’t.
All of the work in this exhibition has been inspired by The Hythe Quay, The Prom and Blackwater estuary, Maldon.
The work has been made in a variety of mediums and techniques including oil paint, oil pastel, mosaic, mixed media with resin, and digital art. Some works are also available as limited edition “giclee” prints to make them even more affordable.
I hope that this show has something for everybody
Same place, different eyes: an eclectic collection.
