At the Maeldune Heritage Centre we continue to strive to keep Maldon’s Heritage alive.
Our local history displays showcase the rich history in Maldon to share with visitors.
Maldon Society’s Listening Station is regularly updated with ‘Voices of Maldon Past’ and the touchscreen is a fabulous repository of archived photos from the Industrial to the Social and everything in between.
There are reference books and files full of local knowledge and history to browse through in our calm and comfortable Centre, housed inside Grade 1 listed St Peter’s Tower.
Read the history of St Peter’s Tower for a fascinating dive into the life of a Medieval Church
