GEORGE KOWZAN “POND”

This exhibition of just 11 oil paintings was inspired by a small, neat tabby cat which would visit George’s wildlife pond in his garden. The semi-abstract paintings portray the exploits of the cat as she would attempt to catch birds and the resident frog. All in vain, but she didn’t stop trying. It’s an allegory of tenacity, resilience and never giving up.
